Small Sugar or Pie Pumpkin. Heirloom vegetable. Whether this pumpkin goes by “Small Sugar” or “Pie” there’s no denying it is a sweetie! Bright orange flesh is finely grained, meaty and just perfect for pumpkin pies like Grandma used to make! Produces a large crop of round fruits 20-25cm (8-10in) in diameter that store quite well. A New England variety introduced by the 1880’s.
